The Italian mathematician, Massimo Marchiori, who has contributed to the development of Google's search algorithm, recently began talking up about the new search engine, claiming it to be different than Google, in terms of the user perspective, for searching data over the internet. Quoting further, "If I didn't think it was something big, capable of competing with the giants of online search, I would never have got involved". Marchiori said, the basic idea was simple and radically different from the current approach of the major search engines. Marchiori is a member of the board of Tim Berner-Lee's World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). He has come up with the name for his search engine as "Volunia", which is set to be released by the end of this year.
